"The Dodge Everyday Sportsman TV Show"
Tip for the Year-----Removing Ticks
Works in those places where it is difficult to get to with fingers, tweezers, etc. Especially between toes, under arms, ears, in the middle of a head full of dark hair, and other parts of the body that are hard to see and reach.
Apply a gob of Liquid Soap to a cotton ball or swab stick. Swab and cover the Tick with the soap-soaked cotton ball for 15-20 seconds. The Tick will come out on it's own and be stuck to the cotton ball when you lift it away. I am told this techique will work 99.99% of the time, and it's much less traumatic for the patient and easier on everyone else.

In August of 2001, Bob Pingleton, OWNER of Northcon Teleporductions, Inc.,THE EVERYDAY SPORTSMAN and other TV shows, started to video tape his new tv show "THE EVERYDAY SPORTSMAN". Bob is the Creator and owner of the copywrited name and his other corporation "Northcon" was to do the camera and editing work. The Corporation's Business Office and Studios are headquartered in Newberry, SC.
With Northcon's 45+ years of combined talent and experience in Outdoor Filming, Commercial/Industrial work, TV Commercials and TV shows, Bob's crew began video taping the new TV show, "THE EVERYDAY SPORTSMAN" on August 15, 2001 in the Low Country of South Carolina. From an idea conceived and Copywrited by Bob some 20+ years before, "THE EVERYDAY SPORTSMAN" began to develop and gain momentum. By hard work, several good Product and Major Sponsors came on board and the show began getting noticed around the country.
Under the guidance of Bob Pingleton & Northcon's Production Manager, John Ezell, the show's look is a cut above the normal Outdoor Hunting/Fishing show. It has been a great feeling and Honor to us that this show has turned into one of the the top Southeastern Outdoor shows in just one year. Our 4th & 5th years continue to show this popularity. We thank our many Sponsors for their faith in us and encourage all of the Sportsmen and Sportswomen to check into these products. These products are some of the best on the market for usability and safety, at a reasonable price. Check out our Sponsor Link Page.
From the beginning, meetings and work began with the Southeast Dodge Marketing Group in Orlando, Florida, as they had expressed an interest in becoming a Major Sponsor if the show stayed in the Southeast. After a great deal of work and travel for nine months, Dodge Trucks became the Title Sponsor and asked Bob to rename the show to: "THE DODGE EVERYDAY SPORTSMAN".
While "THE DODGE EVERYDAY SPORTSMAN" TV show is destined to become a top rated outdoor show featured in the Southeast, Bob's company is already beginning to seek a second Outdoor TV show to maximize it's Time, Equipment, and Marketing capabilities. Undeniably, the Outdoor Recreational market continues to be a leading growth sector of business in the United States. With additional Outdoor Television Networks and Time blocks coming on line, The Everyday Sportsman and "THE DODGE EVERYDAY SPORTSMAN TV SHOW" are poised for future growth. Come join us and enjoy the shows. Let us know your comments...both good and bad.
As you will see that there will be (7) new CO-Hosts working with Bob with the shows in the future. This will give us much more coverage and explaination of the places that we hunt, and of the Sponsor's Equipment used on the shows.
If you, or someone that you know, has a great place to hunt or fish and would like to be one of our Everyday Sportsmen on a show with Bob or one of the other Co-Hosts, give us a call at 1-800-482-7464 or 1-800-475-3142....
We also encourage you to visit this web site often and veiw the new pictures that we add as often as I can get them on. If any Outdoors people have pictures of your game or fish that you would like to see on this site, send them to Bob Pingleton 1214 Main Street, Newberry, SC 29108 or email them to: bobp@northcon.tv I will have a special page going in the near future just for the Everyday Sportsman and Women. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
